S and C, first let me say, I have cruised on 6 NCL ships but not the Norway. We will be taking her in January. She is the only NCL ship that does not offer freestyle so if that is what you really are looking for I would suggest you price Sun, Sky or the Dawn. The Dawn does cruise out of NY which would make me freeze just to think about it, but lots of passengers are excited about the itinerary. There is no way to compare the Norway with CCl or RCL as the ship is a beauty within herself, but very different from your standard ships. If you decide to cruise the Norway be sure to ask around before booking a cabin. She is one of the few original class ships left in the water thus her cabins are not cookie cutter like other ships. You can get an inside cabin with only about 110 sq feet or a suite with over 400 sq ft. The larger cabins are huge in comparison to anything you probably have seen but the smaller ones are barely big enough for 1 person. Remember that little bedroom being built in the houses of the 60s and 70s? Well that's what you will get including the bathrooms. I may be sounding negative and that is not what I mean to do, I think you should know what you are getting. We personally can not wait to sail her. Apparently she is a rare piece of work that you will never see again. No plastic, all real quality. Nita
