I agree with Lady Jag but will say the "waitlist" is not a bad thing if the cruise is more than 90 days from sailing if it is a holiday sailing, 72 days if a standard sailing (this is when final payments are usually due). Many people "book" a cruise with intentions of going but when final pament is due they cancel for whatever reason. Usually just after final payment time for the cruise passes several staterooms will become available. I looked at the cruise you list in your post and as of this post there are several different categories available including mini-suites. If I were still on the waitlist when final payment was due I would probably cancel the cruise unless I could stay on the list without shelling out any cash. I would not get on a waitlist for a cruise after the final payment due date unless I can get on it without putting up a deposit.
