We have only sailed on Carnival, but we looked into Disney very closely. Week for week, the Disney cruise would have cost us exactly (almost to the dollar) twice what our Carnival Inspiration cruise cost our family of five back in March. Our children, who are not toddlers (ages 12 and 9), were not that bowled over by the thought of Disney characters, etc., so we decided to go with Carnival. For those for whom money is no object, perhaps Disney is fine, but my schoolteacher husband and I (I'm a business manager) are quite frugal.Anyway, I can't imagine how our boys could have had a better time, not to mention my husband and myself. Camp Carnival lived up to and exceeded our expectations and we found the dining, the entertainment, and the accommodations to be just great. We would go again in a NY second!JO
