I have it....it's thru Capital One....what did you want to know?
I use it alot!

Does the card seem to work as discribed? How much does it really save on the purchase of a cruise?

I have had mine for about 4 years and charge as much to it as I can. Since I pay it off each month, it is free money for me. I prefer to use mine for the cash value, not the upgrades or free cruises. 23,000 points ($1.00 per point) will earn you $500. 46,000 points equals $1,000. I have already used a $500 certificate and now have $1000 waiting for my next Carnival cruise. The free cruses and upgrades have too many restrictions. Only certain ships and categories are available. You have 5 years to accumulate the points. You can use any travel agent you want and get the best deal before applying the certificate. I used to have the MBNA card, but they changed their amt. of return per dollar and you must use their travel agency when booking.

I too, until recently, used the MBNA card, but as Montekat stated, they have too many restrictions and you must use the accumulated points within 2 years. I recently cashed in my 800 accumulated cruise points and began to use the Carnival Mastercard which is much less restrictive. It also requires fewer points to reach the $500 level (23,000 vs 25,000).
