The Grand is not the smoothest riding ship, so if you don't like a lot of motion, get a cabin that is more mid-ship. The Caribe balconies are about double the size of the Aloha & Baja Deck balcony cabins. We didn't dress formally one night on our last Grand Princess cruise. We all went to the Horizon Court and had THE BEST service! There were only about 25 people all together in there and the waitress overheard me talking about the apple pie. "I only like the crust," I said to someone my brother-in-law. The waitress disappeared and came back with 2 slices of apple pie, minus the apples! She dug them out herself! Another waiter that was hovering (in a good way) close to our table cut my sister's salad for her, as he noticed the pieces were a bit large. It was very intimate, quiet and a wonderful meal we'll never forget.Go, don't worry about not dressing up and have a super time!
