We just returned from a repositioning cruise on the Grandeur of the Seas. I can definitely tell you that when the balcony door is open, the AC shuts off. It would get pretty warm in the cabin, esp. during the day. One night when we were near Aruba, it was so humid and hot in the evening, that when my husband went out on the balcony, tthe mirriors in the room immediately fogged up. Then I noticed a strange light coming from the top of our closet. It was the emergency light on one of the life jackets! They are water activated and stayed on for about 15 min.
