We did the Jeep trip around Cozumel a couple of years ago and it was WONDERFUL. You can stop at several beaches, stop at several beachside bars (can't remember names, but just stop where you feel like it - it's all beautiful). We also toured the ruins and it was a very pleasant and enjoyable place to go. Not as big as the ruins on the mainland, but very fascinating. Lots of iguanas running around and you can walk right into ruins of houses that people lived in so many years ago. Very moving and thought-provoking. We parked the jeep near the cruise ship and reboarded for lunch, then went back out again and were back in time for debarkation and dinner. We snorkeled at Chankanaab. A very beautiful place, where you could spend the whole day if you wanted to. But the Jeep drive around teh island is worth doing. Have a great time. It was one of our beset days ever.
