I have super hearing and can hear the faintest sounds on the cruise ships (and everywhere). I use the ear plugs and never hear loud peple in the halls, stomping above or anything. It's worth it to have a peaceful sleep. Then you don't have to worry about where your cabin is since no matter where your cabin is located there could be unforseen noises like...kids next door, arguing couples...............
