Applet Photo Tutorial
1st step is that you must create and album. So here is the basic way to do so. Remember that you will have to be Logged In with a username & password to do so.
1.) Click on the Photo / Video Tab at the Top of the forum page (Photo below for illustration) to enter into the Photo Gallery and make sure you are Logged In.
2.) Once you are in the Gallery click on the icon circled below.
3.) The following screen will come up and you then need to click on the Add Album tab that is circled in red in the photo below.
4.) Then a page will open that will require you to fill in basic info, such as; album title, description, summary, etc. Then click on the Create tab and you have created an album with the title that you designated. :thumb
The photo below will show what the screen will look like with the Create tab circled in red.
5.) Now that you have created an EMPTY album, it will look like this screen below.
You will now click on the NO Thumbnail tab circled in red.
6.) Once youU have clicked on the NO Thumbnail tab, a screen looking like the one below will open.
7.Now click on the ADD Photo circled in red.
8.) The following window will open UP if you have selected the Applet Upload Tab. This one is the one you need.
If the window that opens up has a single photo upload options then youl have the FROM Web Browser Tab selected.
9.) In the photo above you will click on the Add Pictures Tab circled in yellow and the following window will open.
10.) you will select the photos that you wish to upload by clicking on the photo name with your mouse.
You can select as MANY as you wish by holding down the shift key and highlighting a whole block of photos.) and then clicking the ADD tab. This is shown in the photo below.
11.) Once you have clicked the ADD tab the following window will open.
The photos that you have selected to upload will show up in the left pane labeled a list of photos to upload. From this window you will click on UPLOAD Tab and the photos you have selected will be uploaded in BULK format to the album you have created. :thumb
I know this tutorial may seem complicated but hopefully you will give it a try and see what a Gr8 upgrades they are to the Photo Gallery. Our goal is to try and get as MANY members of the Cruise @ddicts community uploading their cruise photos here and sharing them the rest of the @ddicts Community. :thumb
