Booking with Carnival PVP

For our third Carnival cruise we decided to book directly with our Personal Vacation Planner. After we paid our deposit he became impossible to contact despite numerous emails and phone calls. Has anyone else had this experience?

Not with us. We recently booked our third, and have had no problems with CCL direct. We booked our first with them and our second went through a TA due to a wedding party. Much easier going directly with CCL. Our contact with them even asked several questions (after our deposit) that got us lower rates. We have been in contact via email and phone. She even returned one of our calls after business hours. Must be some sort of aberration for you guys.

Yep, this'll make our fourth cruise, booking thru a PVP with Carnival. I've never had a problem with getting in touch with either of them. My first PVP got his Masters Degree about 6 months ago and went to another job. His replacement has stayed in contact with me, apprising me of any extras and deals available that I might have missed. Try calling Carnival and telling whoever will listen, your problem. It will be corrected.

Eric: If you are not happy with your PVP ask to transfer the booking to someone who is more helpful.

Hey ericf!

Sorry you had a glitch in communications. I'll even offer you my Personal Vacation Planner William "Bill" Buzby whose worked with my wife and I since we began cruising Carnival!

He remembers our anniversary, help me plan a surprise NY cruise complete with how to arrange in room gifts etc. and calls when there are specials he thinks we'll like.

There are some individuals who are motivated to service and truly like what they do and he does it very well. If you decide to call [800-819-3902 X82839] him tell him Dick and Jan Powell said hello.

I'm glad you didn't let one experience turn you off to a great company and group of people.

Happy Cruising,
