Finally made up our mind and Booked a full transit of the Panama Canal on the Ruby Princess for March 2022.

We decided to add to our Panama Canal cruise on the Ruby. We now will board in San Francisco and do a B2B2B. We will head to Hawaii first than go both directions through the Panama Canal and end up back in San Francisco. It will be a total of 45 days but we are looking at adding another 15 days and do Hawaii at the end of this run.

Yesterday we booked our travel to San Francisco to catch our cruise as well as a hotel for a couple days before we are supposed to catch the ship. We always go a few days early because we travel by train and we know there can be delays especially in the winter.

Well we have done it. We booked another cruise on the Ruby and turned it into a B2B2B2B for a total of 60 days. It will start out heading to Hawaii go both directions through the Panama Canal and then back to Hawaii. I should know the ship pretty well by the end of this cruise. We will book our return home on Amtrak today. The reality is this is all to celebrate both our birthdays and also to celebrate our 50th anniversary.
