Beds?

This may sound like a foolish question, but here goes: Do most people find the beds on Royal Carribean comfortable? I read something that made me think they might not be the most comfortable things around.

We've been on two cruises: Rhapsody last year, and Mariner last week.

We found that the beds were very comfortable on both ships. Mattresses were firm, which is a plus (spongy, bouncy mattresses leave me crippled in the morning). We slept very well on these beds, as did our daughter and her friend, who napped every single day and one evening even sacrified dinner to sleep.

I wasn't thrilled with the somewhat stiff pillows on Mariner, but it wasn't a big deal. Just a matter of preference. I prefer well-stuffed down pillows. Had we booked a suite, that's probably what we'd get. But it didn't impact my sleep.

Enjoy!

I thought the bed on the Enchantment of the Seas was very comfortable! I was shocked how comfy it was! I wish I was in it right now! :grin

I have found the beds on the different RCI ships to be comfortable, the only thing that you may not like is since they are twin beds pushed together you can feel where they join in the middle.I don't think it's a big deal but I have heard some others complain about that on all cruise lines.

I never actually even noticed that it was two beds pushed together until the last day of the cruise. I found the beds on the Navigator to be very comfortable, but I do agree that they could use some better pillows. Still, they aren't that bad... more comfortable than some hotels I've stayed in...

That's why I said it was no big deal for us about the beds being pushed together, as we didn't mind it either. I have just read on other posts where it did bother some so I figured I would mention it just to let them know :thumb Again we have always found the beds comfy and with being on the ocean we sleep very well, better than at home actually, must be the great sea air.

Slept like a baby on the Navigator. I wish I was there now. It is torture waiting to sail again...

Thanks for the reassurance. I suppose the pushed-together thing is what I've heard people complaining about.

Just got of the Navigator of the seas yesterday and the beds and the pillows were GREAT! Slept like a baby! Pillows were fluffy and the mattress was firm! Have a great cruise! Wishing I was back on the boat.

Hi!

It looks like we were on the same cruise! I wonder if we ever met or passed each other. Aren't you soooo sad to be off the Navigator.? I just LOVED every minute of the cruise and think the Navigator is the best cruise I've ever been on. Sigh! I want to go back!
