There's no such thing as a stupid question. Why not pick the brains of others who have already visited? We all have varied opinions of course so you have to know what's important for you. We're not all that outgoing and sociable and prefer the quiet and privacy of our own balcony. But others think balconies are a waste of money because they only sleep in the cabin and are always out and about all over the ship. Neither are wrong or right, just different.Take nice strolls around the Promenade deck too. It's wonderful. And pull up a lounge and drink some hot cider for a few minutes. Just wonderful.We've gone on 3 Alaskan cruises and I've never been so relaxed in my life just sitting on the balcony and soaking up the incredible scenery and wildlife.I'm sure you'll enjoy your cruise.
