Attention: Dining!!!

OK gang.. here is how it works.

If you want to eat in a group at the "my Time" dining.. then you need to tell Skyscraper tours that you want this so that they can make the adjustment.

Be aware.. that once booked for "My Time" your tips are charged right then.

This does NOT mean that if you get shoddy service, that you can not still make an adjustment to those tips once on board.

Then we can request a dining time in the range of 6.45 to 7.15 with two tables for 8 that we can move around on.

We received the 6.45 slot on the last cruise, and the maitre d' told us that we could all turn up at 7pm with no problem, and that is what we did.
We ARE aiming for the 7pm slot.

So if you want to do this, please contact skyscraper tours, and then post here or send an email to the
addictsgroupcruises@gmail.com

and let us know.

IMPORTANT: if you are on BOTH legs, then make sure that Skyscraper knows that you want this arrangement for BOTH legs, and not just one.

With these two small groups, it is easier to try to mingle both groups for once, instead of the group being split into two dining times.

Tjhanks Red I am offically changed to My Time but guess had best call Sky Scraper Tours. I do we will rotate chairs different nights so we have a different person beside me(THIS MAY NOT BE CORRECT ETIQUETTE ) BUT i DO SO LOVE GETTING TO CHANCE TO CHAT ONE ON ONE AT DINNER TOO.

well, I am thinking that there may be 14 people doing this, on the first leg.
so that rules out a table for 10:biggrin: so two tables for 8 will fit the bill.
Abnd in the traditional dining setup.and the old way of handing over your tips... changing tables is a pain for the wait staff.
but if we already prepaid.. then there should be no problem for anyone.

Sounds like a plan to me......I just emailed Skyscraper to request our change for both sailings. I took like to shake up the seating....and I don't have to sit right next to Leatherneck as we eat together all the time LOL:biggrin:

...and I don't have to sit right next to Leatherneck as we eat together all the time LOL:biggrin:

the military way:biggrin: I was so trained that it is a "man woman" thing, and that no husband sits with their wife.. that it makes me real uncomfortable when this is not done.. Getting over it though.

I remember the first few times this happened at a function, and I was worried. But it took no more than two tries at the to understand the reasoning, and why it actually works so well.

the man woman thing.. Get two guys next to each other and they will talk sports all night.. get two women together and they will talk family all night.

Second part.. not sitting with your spouse. The spouse is our cuddle blanket.
if we are at a table next to them, then chances are we will talk mostly with them all night.

now put you between two others, and across from yet another. This gives you about 5 people to talk with, one each side, and three in front of you.

You will actually talk about different things.. instead of asking if your hubby let the dog in before you left:biggrin:

I know.. some of you would rather fight than switch

Jeanie.. just because you are now living in civilization.. and have so many options to catch your eye... does not mean that you can forget about doing this:biggrin:

Honestly.. I think about you every day and imagine how darn happy you and Rick must be.

And in spite of the warning above.. we found out this morning that we were only down for the "mytime" on the RCI board for the first leg.. so have a call into Lori to make that for both legs. So it pays to check.

We are like kids in a candy store, having so much fun. Just think we can have pizza deliver, five minutes to a movie theater and ten minutes to the Mall and so many places to eat out. I feel like we are on vacation.

And I bet that you have tried all those options:biggrin: I know that I would have also.

Just remember to check back on the RCI site in a few days to make sure it has been done by RCI.

Looks like we are good to go on Anytime Dining as I received 2 confirmations from Skyscraper yesterday with my Pre-Gratuity marked paid

OOps sorry for delay I have confirmations in hand for both legs of cruise.Looking forward to eating with the late group and our usual early group.
