Oh, Tessie, what a heartbreaker for you. I sincerely hope someday, somehow your DD finds her way.  It is very hard being a mom....because no matter WHAT, you always love them.  And I am sure your DD knows that.  There are some things you can't give up on...and you never, just never really know when circumstances will turn and things will get better.  Hoping this happens for you when you are least expecting it. I have a silly "saying": never, never, ever, ever EVER give up hope.  I never did, never ever thought I would have what I have now, but it all worked out...and who knows...maybe for you too! Miracles happen every day.

Took our DS'es on their lst cruise in '98. They were pre-teen and I was worried they would be "bored" with Mom and Dad the whole week.  They met up with kids before we even sailed out and we barely saw them!  So good for your DS.  And good for you taking your trips which you love. As Moms, especially in your circumstances, you put the "children" first. But every now and then you have to stop dead in our tracks, dig your feet in and say, I am doing something for ME now.  Prayers to you and if you ever want to join us, check out my countdown clock and come on board with us! The more the merrier!  We live 20 minutes from the terminal in Manhattan and

Bayonne.  You are welcome to stay here pre cruise and trek to the ship with us!  Prayers to you and happy cruising.  Just get on the damn ship and as "hard" as it may be, leave everything  behind you...let that lst gentle breeze at sailaway wash it all away  for a little while :)
