Well on my last cruise a guy asked the Captain to help him during the Captains Cocktail Part (usually during the first formal night so everyone is dressed up). The Captain called the girlfriend to the stage and out came the boyfriend to propose to her. Of course she accepted and I think the band played Anchors Aweigh after that which was kind of strange but it was nice to see.
