no school for the O-boy.... aka "Paco". We are expecting over a foot of snow today

right now, it looks like we're being sprinkled by confectioners sugar. It's so fine and there's lots of it. It's very pretty.

Pac-O will be so happy when he sees that there is NO SCHOOL today. (at this rate, they'll still be in school in July). This is already their 4th snow day this year.

Hucc I was on the Boston Globe site last night about 10pm. There were already over 260 school and college closings then. They must have felt pretty confident that the storm was going to hit. I just checked and while my grandson's school wasn't on the list last night it is this morning.

Better safe than sorry. I hate it when the schools don't close and get all the kids in and then the storm gets bad and then they have to try to bus them home on icy roads.

I really struggle with school closings before a storm. A couple of weeks ago we had predictions of 20+ inches many of the major networks had weathermen here and some schools were closed. We were luck if we got 8 inches? Everything ran normally. Seems like whenever they predict a big one we don't get much.

I saw this on the news, Hucc...

When they mention snow measured in FEET, it makes me nervous.

I'm sure O will enjoy his day off though :)

We got snow - but nothing big - is supposed to be real cold this week though. Actually we have been lucky so far this year - - not much winter - -- not watch all that change! lol
