Packing now. We have a separate roll-a-board for Seattle (we have two nights there pre-cruise), one shoulder bag for carry-on, travel C-PAP, one garment bag, and either one or two larger suitcases (number to be determined). My bed is covered with outfits and storage cubes, ensuring that we have to make a lot of progress before bedtime.

I have one dress and one pair of pants that I will be wearing twice. The dress is a black sleeveless cocktail dress. I have two different shawls for them. Also have two separate tops for the black pants. We also plan to send out laundry on this cruise. I'd like to be able to stick to two checked bags for the three of us.

I am all packed now one big suitcase and a overnight suitcase that I will take as my carry onto the ship Fri. We have to weigh it yet I will keep my fingers cross I am ok.
Dh has not packed yet had to take blue to Vet he has a ear infection never been sick since she had him what a time to get sick; It is only in one ear. Has to put drops in it twice a day poor baby. I am sure that Brandyn will do ok with it he is very good for blue. we are going to pay and send suitcases on plane. So we don't have to walk around airport with bags. I am sure we will be there a few hours before. Going to do my boarding passes and pay for bags after 10 AM tomorrow on line.

Luckily our dd is on the ball! She just realized that Friday is the day before a Canadian long weekend & the last day of school for all teachers & kids. So no doubt we will be at the border earlier than what we had planned on. But one border doesn't open till 8AM. Fun & games.

Big suitcase is packed. Probably overweight. Have to deal with that tomorrow at the airport. Still got to deal with my carry on with the computer and meds in it.

We just checked into the Fairmont Olympic. It's a beautiful hotel and it's a beautiful day! Jacquie and Leon are already checked in.

Safe journeys to one and all.

Can't wait to see/meet the rest of the flock!!!

We are home after a nice trip with little sun. Enjoyed meeting other ducks. Now to finish unpacking & doing the mountain of washing! The Pacific Ocean was fairly calm.

It's 12:46 am and we've been home for about an hour. Leon's scooter, however, is still in Seattle, and to say he's unhappy would be the understatement of the year! SEA-TAC airport in general was a complete fiasco. The gate agent refused to talk to me about having the scooter batteries checked to be sure they were compliant, and told me to go sit down, and that she didn't havetime to talk to me about it. The gate changed for the Seattle-Denver trip, but no announcement was ever made. Thank heavens I have this thing about looking at the Departure board every time I pass it! When we discovered that the scooter didn't make it to Denver, it all broke loose. Two supervisors ended up staying overtime to handle the problem, and I have a feeling a certain gate agent in Seattle may now be out of a job. They ended up giving us $40 of meal vouchers, and upgrading us to First Class. The United Boss will be delivering the scooter personally in the morning. The cruise was fantastic, and we're ready to go back....as long as the dogs can got with us as "Therapy Dogs".

Welcome Home Duck Crew.

Popcron, don't worry, I had little sun on my AK cruise on the Sapphire Princess 7 weeks ago.

Jacquie, sorry to hear about the scooter. Also, I'm always looking at the departer board at the airport.

I know you mean about the seattle airport we have problems checking in and then they changed our gate 3 times from one end of the airport to another. Stephanie kept calling that she at the house and it was a mess so she cleaned it and even cleaned the carpet bRANDYN had his dog with him and he is not house trained, I really did not give him permission to bring his dog over. Both david and I were a mess and then the Tv would not turn on I did not get to bed to after 2pm. I have no food in the house think I can pull together lunch but think I will order pizza for dinner tonight It was a great cruise I enjoyed spending time with all the ducks and met a lot of wonderful new friends also,.

It's our turn to sit at the airport. Thus far (knock wood!), our only problem has been finding a seat near one of the electrical outlets. They even have free internet.

Our flight leaves at 2:35pm so we're just a tad early. Jacquie, I hope you at least enjoyed your first class flight!

It was a great cruise and doubly great to see old Friends and meet new ones!

I'm just relieved that I didn't have to make bail (this time) and can keep the Duckie Slush Fund in the bank and drawing interest. Have a feeling we're going to need every penny for the KaKa Kruise, next April. The GloBug is booked, don't you know? *sigh* And ... after her embarassing incidents with "Captain van der Hottie" in Alaska ... well, I'm just saying.
