It's 12:46 am and we've been home for about an hour. Leon's scooter, however, is still in Seattle, and to say he's unhappy would be the understatement of the year! SEA-TAC airport in general was a complete fiasco. The gate agent refused to talk to me about having the scooter batteries checked to be sure they were compliant, and told me to go sit down, and that she didn't havetime to talk to me about it. The gate changed for the Seattle-Denver trip, but no announcement was ever made. Thank heavens I have this thing about looking at the Departure board every time I pass it! When we discovered that the scooter didn't make it to Denver, it all broke loose. Two supervisors ended up staying overtime to handle the problem, and I have a feeling a certain gate agent in Seattle may now be out of a job. They ended up giving us $40 of meal vouchers, and upgrading us to First Class. The United Boss will be delivering the scooter personally in the morning. The cruise was fantastic, and we're ready to go back....as long as the dogs can got with us as "Therapy Dogs".
