Just a general comment on age concerns. The first cruise my husband and I took was for our honeymoon and we were at first dismayed to see grey and white hair on the folks at our table at dinner. They tunred out to be wonderful dining and travel companions with lots of interesting things to talk about and we loved them! Here's what we have learned about cruisers. No matter what age, they all share common interests in travel, the sea, and learning about others. So it's not the age, but the attitude that matters. Don't let concerns about older (or younger for that matter) passengers get in the way of your enjoyment--I've snorkled with 90 year olds and 9 year olds and found both to be enjoyable travel buddies!
