Bread caught me outside playing with Rylee. Its not so much the snow as the way I was dressed. You know, it really wasn't cold out, or I would have been better dressed . . . .

A little more has come down and now need shoes . . . .but still not too cold! :grin

If YOU say it isn't cold....... :dizzy

But I DO remember being in Fairbanks when it was 4 below and not feeling cold either. Of course, I had on a warm, thick coat...

It's 89 degrees going up to 93 here in the midwest. Snow looks pretty good about now.

Boy, am I jealous. It's in the 80's here in NY again today. Please send your snow down here.

Count me as another one longing for snow. I know - most think we're crazy....

We're not crazy. I have a friend who lives in Soldotna, he keeps teasing me that the weather is beautiful and cold. I keep telling him to send it to me.

I love blizzards here in NY -- hopefully we'll have one or two this year.

I HATE snow, but I also hate this hot stuff we are still having. I tolerated it through August, but this is mid October and it is still in the 90s. How about something lasting in the 50s - 60s? I could live in that year round.

Several years ago, I did a land trip to Alaska end of February/early March - Fairbanks, Talkeetna (for an afternoon), Anchorage, Alyeska Resort. I absolutely LOVED it - cold, crisp, snow on the ground, light snow falling at the Alyeska Resort. We were in Anchorage for the festivities and start of the Iditarod. I would give ANYTHING to be able to repeat that trip! It was before I really knew of Tobyn and Bread, or I would have tried contacting them beforehand (giving them time to get out of town! :grin). In fact, thinking back, it had to have been in 2002 because, at our hotel in Anchorage, we met the service dog-in-training to be sent to New York in place of Sirius, the dog that had died at Ground Zero.

I've been invited, maybe I should go. First, I'm doing a land trip to Vegas at the end of this month, then maybe I should go to Alaska in February or March. Gotta get those slot machines to give me winnings.

You keep that "S" stuff up north please - - not ready for it just yet here in Northern Ohio area! lol

Great photos! I miss the snow, too. We actually have a bag of the stuff in our freezer from our ONE snowstorm last year. Of course, it's now just one big block of ice.

I love the flip-flops, Tobyn. :)

I am going to be glad when the weather cools down here too. We are having record heat here in VA.

Our weather finally broke here in Dayton, OH today! We are pleasantly in the low 70's/high 60's. I hope fall is here to stay (finally)!

Leon said to tell you that the cold must have fianlly affected your brain! I was excited when our high finally went below 80 today.
